ISLAMABAD - Imran Shaukat continued his winning streak as he ousted second seed M Abid in the NBP Subh-e-Nau National Tennis Championship men's singles semifinals here at PTF Tennis Complex on Friday. Abid won the first set convincingly, however, Imran showed brilliant skills in the next two sets and defeated the country's one of the leading player in the circuit. Imran will now face Ahmed in the final. Ahmed made another upset by thrashing Heera Ashiq of Lahore in second semifinal of the day. The men's singles final will be played today (Saturday) at 3pm. Abid/Usman Rafique set doubles final date with Aqeel Khan/Shehzad. Abid/Usman beat Heera Ashiq/Sanaullah Khan in second semifinal 6-1, 6-3. Aqeel/Shehzad beat Zain Nawab/Shahid Afridi in other semifinal.
