It’s been two years since Kapamilya actress-singer Vina Morales has gone dating, but she’s not complaining.

"Of course, gusto ko din i-priority iyon but it just so happened na wala pa akong nakikitang I can end up with. It will just happen. God knows that I'm really praying for that. I know He will give it to me. I just don't know when but I'm very patient," Vina said in a pocket interview on the set of "Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo " where she plays Oryang, Andres Bonifacio’s wife.

Vina has learned her lesson from past relationships and doesn't want to rush into a new romance.

"Kasi ayaw kong ibigay sa kanya na magsisisi ulit ako. I've gone through a lot. Ayaw ko na. So gusto ko yung galing na sa Kanya (God), kasi ayaw ko na ng sakit ng ulo."

Daughter’s wish

Her daughter Ceana supports Vina’s wish to find a special someone. Vina also shared that Ceana is praying for a sibling.

“Minsan matatawa ka na lang. She has so many questions. Minsan hindi ko alam isasagot ko, but you have to be ready for that.”

Meanwhile, Vina researched on the life of Oryang to better portray her character in the movie.

Strong woman

"She's a very strong woman, she's a fighter, a loving wife. It's about Andres (Bonifacio) and his very supportive wife. Pagdating sa ganito, mas gusto nila ng subtle acting. More dramatic, mas may puso."

Vina is very excited to work with Robin Padilla (who plays Andres Bonifacio) after so many years.
"Makikita mo yung chemistry onscreen. Kahit na tinginan lang, nakakakilig na. Kahit hindi mo na i-arte."

Vina hopes viewers will support “Bonifacio,” an official entry to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival, despite strong competition from other movies.

Historical film

"Of course we are praying, pero ang nasa puso namin is thankful kami dahil umarte kami sa pelikulang ito. We can pass this to our next generation. Hindi namin iniisip masyado iyan, pero pinagdadasal namin iyan. This is historical, hindi din mawawala yung love story nila."

"Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo" also stars Daniel Padilla, Jasmine Curtis, RJ Padilla and Rommel Padilla.
