The students of TRIO World School went green this Deepavali  by saying no to crackers.

They took an oath that they would not burst crackers and make every effort to keep their environment pollution-free, a step towards making the world a better place for future generations. Furthermore, students of 27 nationalities celebrated the festival of lights in all its traditional fervour with jubilation and enthusiasm at the school.

Many activities were planned to emphasise the importance and significance of Deepavali in India. Some of the activities were making attractive greeting cards, activity stations like of spice tasting, body art/tattoo, snake and ladder game/diya painting, quiz on India, drawing and painting, ‘rangoli’ making, music sessions etc.

The highlight of the event was a performance by the students of special education needs.
