Nyla to play a cop in a Mammootty-starrer !

After Kunjananthante Kada and Gangster, actress Nyla Usha is once again part of a Mammootty project. The actress has signed up Deepu Karnakaran’s film titled Fire Man. But this time, she won’t be paired opposite the megastar. Nyla will play the Superintendent of Police, a prominent role in the film, says producer Milan Jaleel.
Nyla was last seen in Aashiq Abu’s Gangster as a bold and stylish Muslim woman, a much younger character to her gangster husband.This is her third project with Mammootty, which has gone on floors at Palakkad, and the actress will join the set by this month-end. Earlier, the makers had plans to rope in Andrea Jermiah for the role. In this action-thriller, Mammootty plays a fireman for the first time. An insider says, “There is no heroine opposite Mammootty; the subject revolves around a rescue operation and the risks taken by a firefighter to accomplish his task.”
The actor recently completed his first schedule of Salim Ahmed’s Pathemari in which he will be seen in multiple get-ups. He also has Ranjith Sankar’s Varsham set for release.
