NY production house Storyville Entertainment has promoted Caroline Christopher to SVP of production and development, an expansion of her previous role of VP of the same departments.

Christopher will report to Storyville president Betsy Schechter and oversee the company’s development slate, including projects with H2, truTV, Oxygen, SyFy, National Geographic and MTV International.

“Caroline is unique in that she has both incredible development instincts and vast production expertise,” said Schechter. “In less than a year, we’ve sold nearly 10 projects and I’m grateful to my team and their endless effort to bring innovative ideas and a unique voice to the marketplace.”

Prior to Storyville, Christopher served as director of development for National Geographic Television. In her development career, she has worked on programming for NBC’s Peacock Productions and ABC News Productions, as well as Discovery, A&E, TLC, History, Lifetime, National Geographic, AMC and Travel Channel.

Storyville launched in March, and is currently partnering with Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions to produce a scripted series and holds a first-look partnership with JB Smoove’s Converge Media Group.
