BHOPAL: Home and jail minister Babulal Gaur said that a scheme to provide Shaurya Shastra (Bravery Weapon) will be launched soon to honour brave heart of Madhya Pradesh.
Guar disclosed the new scheme during discussions with brave heart Ekta Shrivastava of Danish Nagar (Misrod) in Bhopal on Friday. He said that women are displaying courage and bravery to set examples for others.

Police department will honour such women to inspire other women. As Shaurya Shastra, brave women will be provided dagger-like weapon. Directives have been given to departmental officers to launch this scheme soon.
Gaur said that Ekta Shrivastava, a resident of Danish Nagar, had not only foiled incident of loot, but had also nabbed and handed over to police one of the looters.
Ekta Shrivastava, who was once convener of Dewas district’s Durga Vahini, said that she has imbibed traits of courage and self-defence from Durga Vahini. This is why, she was able to prevent loot incident and catch a looter.
Gaur said that Police Department is publishing a book focusing on such brave women. Shaurya Shastra Yojana is being launched so that people acknowledge these women’s bravery and draw inspiration from them.
