Nike reveals that Cristiano Ronaldo's cleats came from space

Ever wonder where Nike gets its soccer cleats?

It’s space. Space is where Nike gets its cleats.

Ahead of this weekend’s El Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid, Nike provided the backstory of how Ronaldo gets ready for a match and how he receives his cleats.

OK, so first thing you need to know is that Cristiano Ronaldo’s cleats are actually from space and are pretty much asteroids.

And when Carlo Ancelotti found out, he was all “Whaaat?”

So he called Ronaldo who was leg pressing a sports car and said, “Hey man, get your asteroid cleats out of the desert ’cause we gotta play Barca soon.”

Ronaldo said, “OK, man. Let me do one more sports car leg press set and then I’ll bounce.”

Ronaldo then reveals that he doesn’t put his cleats on like everyone else. He just jumps into a bright neon blue orb and BAM! Cleats on.

Now that his cleats are on, Ronaldo can do lots of amazing things, like levitate and control matter.

He is faster than a jet, too.

He can also zigzag through the forest crazy fast.

But eventually, Ronaldo remembers he can’t be doing crazy superhero stuff all day and he has to get to the Bernabeu or Ancelotti is going to be so salty. So he just jumps from a 40 story building and into the middle of the pitch, no big deal.

And that’s the story of how Ronaldo gets his cleats.
