Khune salutes Klate's decade

Cape Town - Itumeleng Khune took to social media to show his gratitude for Orlando Pirates midfielder Daine Klate who celebrates 10 years in the PSL.

Klate started his career at SuperSport United and at 19 made his Absa Premiership debut against Bush Bucks. 

The left-footed winger made over 120 appearances for SuperSport before Pirates came knocking and enquired about the speedy attacker.

Khune went on his official Instagram account, to thank the 29-year-old for his contribution to South African football and being an inspiration to the younger players.

Meanwhile, Pirates and Ajax Cape Town will renew their cup rivalry when the team meet for their Telkom Knockout quarter-final at Orlando Stadium. Kick-off scheduled for 20:50 on Saturday, October 25.

While Khune is sideline, rivals Kaizer Chiefs face Platinum Stars for the fourth time this season in a quarter-final of the Telkom Knockout. Kick-off is Sunday, October 26 at 15:30.
