Intesa Sanpaolo SpA, Italy’s second-biggest bank, said Paolo Molesini will run its newly created private-banking division from July as the lender seeks to expand the business.

Molesini will replace Matteo Colafrancesco, named today as head of the unit until June 30, Intesa said in a statement today. From July, Colafrancesco will remain in the division “in a high position,” the Milan-based bank said.
