Farah Khan’s Happy New Year has got a U certificate from the Censor Board of Film Certificate (CBFC). “We at RCE have always believed in making a film which can be enjoyed by one and all. And with a U certificate attached to the film it is only going to enhance the potential and appeal right from the kids to youngsters to adults. From the day Farah and I decided to make Happy New Year we wanted it to be a wholesome family entertainer,” said Shah Rukh Khan in a press statement. This will go in the film’s favour as it’s a Diwali release and will allow people of all age groups within families to watch the film together.
