Senior citizen chased, stabbed to death

BANGALORE : A 65-year-old man was stabbed to death in Madivala on Wednesday night. The deceased is Venkateshappa. Police said Venkateshappa, his son Mohan Raj and friend Madesh were standing in front of their house at Siddartha Colony when Vasu from the same locality attacked them with a knife.
Vasu, who was not on good terms with Mohan Raj, and his friend Raju confronted the trio and attacked them.While Mohan Raju managed to escape, Venkateshappa was chased and stabbed to death. Madesha suffered injuries while trying to rescue Venkateshappa. Vasu and his friend are absconding. tnn
