He won a national award through his first project
Filmmaker Anil Radhakrishna Menon bagged a national award through his first project North 24 Kaatham, but apparently the director had not planned his film entry!
In conversation with a news site, he said that all he did is enter the tinsel town, when he just felt like it. Anil’s second film Sapthamashree Thaskaraha was also met with positive responses. Interestingly, he wished to direct a Tamil film before his Malayalam project that fetched him the award.
