Bahrain-based Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mill Company (Garmco), a leading downstream aluminium facility in the Middle East, brought together its representatives of all subsidiaries for a key meeting in Bahrain.

The subsidiaries span five continents - Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and North America, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Garmco's sales and service centres are located in Australia, China, Europe, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand and the US.

The first subsidiaries meeting was held at the group's headquarters.

The four-day interactive sessions between the members of the global team were organised as an integral part of change management, team building and performance review.

The group's new strategy was shared amongst all members and its 2015 budget was finalised.

"Garmco's subsidiaries serve more than 2,000 customers in 45 countries and the group is undergoing a great deal of change as part of its new strategy and corporate restructure," head of corporate communications Hind Al Sabbagh said.

"In such an environment, face-to-face communication is essential.

"The meeting helped chart a new path in Garmco's team building, decision-making and profitable growth process and will be an event that will be held annually," she said. - TradeArabia News Service
