The launch of Pallavi Chatterjee's maiden folk album had the music industry rooting for her.
With doting brother Prosenjit Chatterjee by her side, Pallavi was confidence personified. “Though the songs are traditional, the music arrangement by Sidhu, Neel Dutt, Samidh Mukerjee and Debjit Roy is modern, which will appeal acrosss generations. I dedicate this album to my well-wishers this Diwali," said Pallavi, who has rendered popular songs like Sadher lau, Laal paharir, Amar bhitor o bahire and Boli o nonodi.

DJ Akash Rohira, who remixed two of the songs — Borokoler beti lo and Bhalo koira — said, “I am happy to be a part of this project. It's an interesting take on folk music." Neel added, “It was nice working with Pallavi. Thanks to Rajkumar Sengupta for co-arranging Amar bhitor o bahire.“
