Two accused have been booked by police for allegedly circulating a woman's phone number and harassing her.

SURAT: Two accused have been booked by police for allegedly circulating a woman's phone number and harassing her. The woman had helped one of the accused's wife in getting divorce from him. In a revengeful move the accused planned to harass the victim.
Police booked Kalpesh Solanki and his friend Bhavin Thakkar, both residents of Adajan area for allegedly circulating the woman's number to different people and harassing her.
Both the accused have been arrested by police.
The complainant started receiving calls from unknown numbers in the past few days. The complainant stated in her complaint that the caller called himself 'Romeo' and forced her to talk. The callers made repetitive calls to harass the victim. She informed her father and brother and they tried to talk with the callers. The callers abused the victim's father and brother on phone after which she approached police.
Police investigation revealed that the victim's number was circulated by Solanki and Thakkar. Solanki informed police that he wanted to harass the victim. The complainant helped Solanki's wife in divorce case against Solanki and to take revenge the accused planned harassment through phone. The victim advised Solanki's wife and supported her in the divorce case, sources informed.
