Vijay Raghavendra joins Prem in romcom

Even days before its release, no other cast member of the film Fair &Lovely, apart from Prem and Shweta Srivatsava, has been revealed. So secretive has Raghuram been about the contents of the film that it has led to speculation that the film has only two actors.
However, Raghuram presented actors like Anu Prabhakar, Nakshatra, Omprakash Rao among others as the supporting cast and put an end to the rumours.
But everything is not as black and white as it seems. Instead of a love story between the two lead characters, the film, sources say, could be a love triangle. Mirror has learnt from reliable sources that Vijaya Raghavendra is also in the cast and Prem may not be the only leading man in the film.
When asked, Raghuram did not deny Vijaya Raghavendra's presence and said the truth would be known in a few days when the film releases. Incidentally, Prem had acted in Raghuram's first film Cheliveye Ninne Nodalu while Vijaya Raghavendra plays the lead in his next film that also stars Radhika Kumaraswamy.
At a time when multi-starrers are making a comeback, Raghuram has just added the trend. “Making a multi-starrer for the sake of it is different from getting powerful and popular actors for all the roles. Anu Prabhakar and Nakshatra too are lead actresses.
It adds value to the film to have a strong supporting cast,“Raghuram s said. Sources say that Shweta Srivatsava plays a prostitute a in the film, which all other actresses considered for the film refused. “There is no point in worrying about what could have been. Each actor adds his or her own value and perspective to the film. Shwetha has come up with a performance that is mindblowing.Now I feel no one could have bettered her performance,“ Raghuram said.
