Anuj Sachdeva in Delhi to celebrate Diwali

Anuj Sachdeva gave a pleasant surprise to his family members in Delhi on Dhanteras when he landed up here to celebrate Diwali with them.
The actor, who is playing the lead in Itti Si Khushi, told us, "I wanted my family to come to Mumbai to celebrate Diwali with me since I bought my own place there. But as my mom has been a little unwell, I decided on coming here to celebrate with them."

Anuj says that there are some days that he just can't afford to spend without his family.“Before signing the contract for a show, I tell the makers that there are a few occasions on which I would take leave. These are my birthday , my mom and dad's wedding anniversary , Diwali, New Year and Holi,“ he said, adding, “On Diwali, all our family members get together and do the Lakshmi pujan, which is a huge thing. I read the whole katha.“
However, the actor says that he isn't in favour of bursting crackers as his dogs get scared. “Kids in the house don't like it if we celebrate a festival without crackers. So, we burst crackers, but not too many of them. I have two dogs ­ one is in Mumbai and the other is in Delhi. I have given my dog to someone to take care of in Mumbai during my absence.Adam, my other dog who is in Delhi, sits with me during the puja and we take special care of him during this time. We keep him in a room where he isn't able to hear the noise of crackers. We also keep checking on him at regular intervals,“ he says.
