11/28: Stay Up With Me tour featuring Netsky

A superstar in his native Belgium, DJ Boris Daenen, better known as Netsky, has been turning heads in dance music since 2010. He has hit the charts and won awards for his remixes of songs by artists such as Jessie J and Rusko. Group table reservations available.

11/26: Rebecca & Fiona

Swedish DJ duo Rebecca & Fiona are in town this week.

This dynamic DJ duo, formed in 2010, are huge superstars in their native Sweden. They have had their own reality show and toured with Robyn. They released debut album "I Love You, Man!" in 2011. Their most recent single, "Holler," has more than 100,000 views on YouTube.

11/26: Thanksgiving Eve Party

Kick off the holiday with Raven's ninth annual day-before-Turkey-Day shindig. The Al Ortiz Trio will provide live music for dancing, and drinks and food will be on special for all-night Happy Hour, including a sushi special and $2 off all cocktails.

Thursdays: Georgia Chrome

DJ Seduce hosts this weekly night, helping downtown partyers break the monotony of Top 40 and electronic dance music. The wide-ranging DJ will spin a mix of Motown, soul and funk until closing time. Enjoy Honey Badger cocktails and good craft beers.

FilmBar

FilmBar will host a wine tasting event on Nov. 5, serving vintages that feature in that night's documentary on California wine country.

Quiet types and artsy types will appreciate this 70-seat movie theater and bar, which shows an array of indie movies, documentaries, cult classics and more. FilmBar serves 25 beers and a dozen wines, and they're open until midnight weekdays and 2 a.m. weekends, making it an ideal hangout spot for downtown hipsters.

Club Red

In a strange feat of "alternative" strength, Club Red is home to live music of the metal and hip-hop persuasions (thanks to frequent work with promoters 13th Floor Entertainment, Psyko Steve and Universatile Music, all Facebook like-worthy for music fans).

Thursdays: 'Burlesque' evenings

Every Thursday W Scottsdale presents "Burlesque" in the hotel's Living Room Lounge, with dancers performing three to five 30-minute routines throughout the evening. A four-piece classic and contemporary jazz band will cover hits from movies such as "Moulin Rouge," "Chicago" and "Burlesque." On select Thursday nights, "Burlesque" will feature musicians who specialize in jazz musical instruments such as the clarinet and saxophone. The event is for guests age 21 and older.
