PM Narendra Modi appreciates Salman Khan's Swachh Bharat task

Mumbai: Salman Khan , who accepted the invite sent by PM Narendra Modi for the ‘Clean India Campaign’ or the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, initiated the task on Tuesday. The Bollywood superstar contributed to the nationwide campaign by transforming a part of Karjat on Tuesday. The actor even shared pictures of himself with his team cleaning up areas dumped with garbage. In one of the pics, he is also seen painting a house and giving it a new look. Here’s what Khan tweeted:

The actor took the opportunity to inspire and request all his fans on Facebook and followers on Twitter to take part in the ‘Clean India Campaign’ by nominating each of them. PM Modi, on October 2, on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday, announced his ‘Swachh Bharat Abiyan’ and nominated 8 distinguished personalities along with the team of ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Olta Chashma’ to take part in the noble initiative. He urged these celebrities to accept the task and nominate 9 other people or groups to keep the chain moving. By accepting the PM’s invite, Salman has set an example and will certainly motivate his fans to contribute to making India a cleaner country.
