Clown-masked suspect shot pellets, played trombone

The drunken clown was shooting a pellet gun into the street and "at one point was playing a trombone," the 911 caller said.

BLAIR TOWNSHIP, Mich., Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Police in Michigan said a drunken man in clown mask was reported shooting a gun into the street and playing the trombone from his garage.

Grand Traverse County sheriff's deputies said a 911 caller reported a man in a garage "wearing camo pants and a clown mask" was shooting a gun at a can in the street in Blair Township about 10:30 a.m. Monday.

The caller said the man "at one point was playing a trombone."

Deputies arrived and determined the man was intoxicated and the reported firearm was a pellet gun. The man was arrested on a personal protection order violation.
