Today the world's largest youth empowerment event of its kind, We Day, along with National Co-Title Sponsors RBC and TELUS, will bring together renowned speakers and chart-topping musical artists including Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, Orlando Bloom, Nick Jonas, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Shawn Mendes, Debby Ryan and Donnie Yen, amongst others with international activists and co-founders of We Day, Craig and Marc Kielburger, at We Day Vancouver engaging and inspiring 20,000 students from over 1,000 schools to take action on local and global causes that are important to them.

We Day Vancouver highlights some of the greatest social issues of today and provides the young people in attendance, and tens of thousands more watching the event streamed live on MTV.ca, ways in which they can find their place within the movement to create global change. Selena Gomez, actress, multi-platinum recording artist and host of We Day Vancouver, will lead the crowd through a day full of powerful educational speeches, inspirational moments and electric performances. A few must-see moments include:

• New to the We Day stage, multi-platinum award-winning performer and actress, Jennifer Lopez makes a SURPRISE appearance performing a medley of her greatest hits.

• We Day alum, actor and humanitarian Orlando Bloom speaks about a personal life-changing moment that allowed him to overcome the impossible. After falling from a three story building at the age of 19, Orlando had a compound fracture and was told he may never walk again. After 12 days in the hospital, Orlando got up and walked, highlighting that we all have the strength within to conquer life's obstacles.

• Youth will be out of their seats for a performance by multi-talented recording artist and actor Nick Jonas who is set to sing his second official single Jealous off of his upcoming self-titled solo album.
