Ariana Grande News: Artist to Cancel Spain Trip Due to Ebola Outbreak
Ariana Grande had been expected to visit Spain this month to promote her latest album, My Everything. But it looks like the 21-year-old artist is among those individuals who is wary of the Ebola outbreak.
The "Problem" singer together with her management team opted to cancel their travel to the European country for concerns about the Ebola virus outbreak.
"Ariana's promo trip had to be cancelled – her team weren't prepared to take any chances during the incubation period," an insider told The Sun. "Of course, some people might think it's an over-reaction but everyone agreed it was the right decision. It's nothing against her Spanish plans and she was conscious to make sure the visit was put back in the diary in the future."
The Ebola virus outbreak has already claimed more than 4,500 lives in West Africa and reported over 9,000 infected individuals including four suspected cases in Spain.
Metro UK meanwhile indicated in their report that Ariana and her team have to "juggle plans at the last minute and reschedule the trip."
"Ariana headed to Paris instead and now won't get round to visiting Spain until November at the earliest, if at all this year," the media outlet indicated.
The website further cited other celebrities who have shown concerns about the virus outbreak. They pointed out BBC's Jonathan Ross who was recently reported stocking huge amount of medical supplies such as hand gels and gloves "as precaution."
