Vishal is another popular Tamil actor in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana after Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Surya, Vijay, Ajith and Karthi.
Most of his recent Tamil films have been dubbed and released in Telugu and have proved successful at the Tollywood box office. The makers of his latest Kollywood movie "Poojai" have dubbed and released the same in Telugu as "Pooja" on 22 October.
Vishal and Shruti Haasan have played lead roles in the film, while Sathyaraj, Soori Mukesh Tiwari, Jayaprakash, Radhika Sarathkumar, Abhinaya and Sithara essayed important roles in it.
Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music, while Priyan and VT Vijayan handled the cinematography and editing respectively.
"Pooja" is a commercial entertainer film, which has all the masala ingredients to woo all classes of audience. "Singham" fame Hari has written the script and directed the movie, which is touted to be a racy thriller.
The viewers say that the movie does not boast anything new in terms of its story. They call it a regular mass masala entertainer with routine story.
Vishal's electrifying performance, Shruti's glamour, Hari's screenplay and punch dialogues, well choreographed action and dance scenes, good music, amazing camera work, Andrea Jeremiah's item song and beautiful locales and costumes are the main highlights of the movie "Pooja", according to the viewers.
