Diwali is one festival on which everyone wants to grab attention and look their best. But, thanks to our stressful lives, faulty diet, pollution and most of all our lethargic habits, we fail to look healthy and glowing. A healthy skin and perfect radiance tops the wish list of every woman irrespective of her age and profession.

It is not possible to rush to the salon to get beauty treatments or spend excessively on cosmetic moisturisers, and so we bring to you some easy beauty tips to look your best this Diwali:

Face masks: It is very important to know your skin type before opting for any face mask or other beauty treatments. Here are a few face masks that work wonders will will give you that perfect glow for the festive season:

- Egg white and honey face mask: It has magical effect, trust me. All you have to do is first mix one egg white with 1 tbsp of honey and after this, apply it evenly over your face extending it to the neck. All you get to see is a glowing bright skin.

- Milk and honey mask: It is one of the best formulas to get that instant glow. Take a spoonful of honey and mix at least half cup of fresh milk in it. Now, apply this beauty mask on your face and see the amazing results.

- Aloe Vera mask: Aloe vera has immense benefits when it comes to skin as it has antioxidants and vitamins which will leave a perfect glow on your skin that you always longed for thereby repairing skin cells.

Proper sleep: A good amount of sleep of say 7-8 hours is a must to relax your skin and prevent acne. Also, improper sleep can lead to puffy eyes which will certainly spoil your look so it is important to get a good beauty sleep.

Ditch fizzy drinks: Instead of drinking fizzy drinks, opt for drinking ample amount of water a week before Diwali to keep your skin hydrated and get that perfect glow naturally. It is advisable to consume as much water as possible for that healthy and glowing skin.

Oily food is a no-no: Saturated fatty acids, oily foods and junk food like finger chips, burgers, pizza along with caffeine and processed food should be avoided as they increase the chances of acne and other skin problems. Also avoid over indulging in food as it not just affects your skin but can also leave you with a blotted stomach.

No heavy make-up: And last but certainly not the least a heavy make-up is just not required as it blocks the pores, leading to more acne. And after all, it's not a bad idea to go bare faced sometimes.

So, opt for these easy tips and shine like a ‘diya’ this Diwali from head-to-toe.
