Justin Roberts Got To Live Every Wrestling Fan's Dream And Here's Proof

"As a kid who grew up loving & living for professional wrestling, I was able to chase, catch & live an impossible dream."

    Meet Justin Roberts.

Ever since he was a kid, Justin Roberts has always been a wrestling fan.

He would always somehow make it on TV during every WCW/WWF event in Chicago in the '90s.

He got to meet his childhood heroes like Shawn Michaels.

    Mr Fuji.

And WWE Chairman and future boss Vince McMahon.

Roberts knew that this was the industry he wanted to be a part of, and did anything to get his foot in the door. Here he is refereeing.

And here he is on Jerry Springer...kinda similar to wrestling...right?

Eventually he started ring announcing at the tender age of 16.

It was not long before his talents were noticed by the WWE - he was hired in 2002.

A 22 year old working for the WWE. #Winning

Justin Roberts also started in the WWE the same year as John Cena.

Roberts started off announcing smaller events for the company but quickly worked his way up to announcing WWE Raw and the company's Pay Per Views.

Every night of the week he would be in front of a different city.

The job would take him around the world, whether it be to Malaysia.

    France.

    or Australia.

Just name a place and chances are Roberts has announced there.

He regularly met celebrities, like Evander Holyfield.

    Florence Henderson.

His amazing ring announcing abilities made him one with the locker room.

    With the fans.

    And with past ring announcers.

But maybe not with his bosses.

    Just kidding, they're cool.

He got to take a selfie with Ric Flair in the middle of the ring! WOOOO!

    Endorsements to run a country.

He had the amazing opportunity meet the world's strongest wrestling fan, Connor "The Crusher" Michalek and introduced him to the WWE Universe.

He got to re-meet other childhood heroes, not as a fan, but as a peer. Here he is with Hacksaw Jim Duggan.

    The Rock.

    Bret Hart.

    And "Razor Ramon" Scott Hall.

He got his own trading card.

    And appeared in video games!

He took us for a ride on every step of his journey.

And made the fans feel like they were a part of the show.

Because in the end he will always be a fan himself.

Last week Justin Roberts' 12-year run with the WWE came to an end when Roberts and the WWE parted ways.

The fans were angered at the WWE for their decision, which promoted Roberts to respond with this:

And rumour has it that he might be releasing a book in the not to distant future.

Justin Roberts had a childhood dream. He went for it, he worked hard for it, and he achieved it.

    Here's to you, Justin Roberts.
