JAMMU, Oct 21: In an impressive function MLA East Ashok Khajuria in presence of Sohail Kazmi Journalist dedicated Imamia Community Hall Peer Mitha to the Shia Community of Jammu out of Constituency Development fund at the cost of 12.5 lacs. The function was organized by the Anjuman-e-Imamia Jammu.
Prof. Sujat Khan secretary Anjuman-e-Imamia Jammu on the behalf of Shia community of Jammu complimented the MLA and appreciated the efforts made by him to solve the problems of the people in the State.
Sohail Kazmi who was guest of honor in his address said that steps taken by Mr. Khajuria are worth lauding and he expressed the hope that MLA will show same attitude in the coming future towards the Shia community also.
Others who spoke on the occasion were Khalid Hussasin a prominent writer, Prof. Zahur-ud-Din former Registrar University of Jammu, Sheikh Ashiq Hussain, Sheikh Niaz, Sheikh Sajjad Poonchi a renowned Urdu poet and Liaqat Jafari a renowned and international fame Urdu writer and poet, President ALMSAJ.
