Booked for hoarding firecrackers

A Guntur-based trader who had illegally hoarded huge stocks of fire crackers, which the police claimed are worth Rs.4.8 crore in the open market, at an old cotton mill, was booked by Vigilance and Enforcement and police on Monday night.

The trader Malisetty Subba Rao had a licence to stock a limited size of crackers and during the raids, it was found Mr. Rao had far exceeded the permissible limits of storage.
