Jagan case: Srinivasan, Sabita attend court

Several accused persons in eleven quid pro quo investment cases against YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, including India Cements MD N. Srinivasan, former Home Minister P. Sabita Indra Reddy and Dalmia Cements CMD Puneeth Dalmia, appeared before the Principal Special Court for CBI Cases here on Tuesday. After marking their attendance, Judge N. Balayogi posted the cases to November 20 for the next hearing.

The first accused in all the cases, Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy, former Ministers Mopidevi Venkataramana, Dharmana Prasada Rao, J. Geetha Reddy and several others did not attend the court citing different reasons.

Those appeared in the court include: V. Vijay Sai Reddy, Nimmagadda Prasad, Penna Prathap Reddy, Sajjala Diwakar Reddy, A. Ayodhyarami Reddy, IAS officers M. Samuel, B. Sambob and others.

Hearing on OMC case postponed

Meanwhile, the court also postponed the hearing in the illegal mining case against Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC) to November 20.

Accused in the case V.D. Rajagopal appeared before the court in person, while B.V. Srinivasa Reddy, Gali Janardhan Reddy and K. Mehfuz Ali Khan were presented through video linkage.

Remand extended

The remand of the last three accused was extended till November 20.
