Swadeshi Jagran Manch should not find fault in Modi's 'Make in India' campaign: Kalraj Misra
LUCKNOW : In a clear sign of friction within the Sangh Pariwar, Union minister for medium, small and micro enterprises Kalraj Misra advised Swadeshi Jagran Manch not to point out unnecessary mistakes in Central government policies. The minister was reacting to Swadeshi Jagran Manch's protest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream campaign -- Make In India.
He said that the idea behind "Make in India" campaign is to ensure manufacturing of international level products in the country.
And once they would be sold outside the country, they would be called "Made in India". He said that it will not encourage FDI as was being claimed by SJM office-bearers as FDI for the Modi government stands for "first develop India". The minister who is in the city for a two-day visit, was talking to media persons at state BJP office in Lucknow. Earlier, Misra also hit out at Samajwadi Party for targetting UP Governor Ram Naik and said that the language being used by their leaders was condemnable. He said there was nothing wrong if the governor points out that law and order situation in the state was not up to the mark. It shouldn't be treated as governor's bid to target the political party or the government, he said.
Further hitting out at the state government, Misra said that the law and order situation was still not good in the state as women continue to face atrocities at the hands of anti-social elements. "I personally know about several cases, where FIRs were not being lodged. Besides, in certain cases, those who want their FIRs to be registered are being falsely implicated," Kalraj said. On the outcome of Maharashtra and Haryana assembly polls, Kalraj said that the results were the proof of the fact that the people of the country have reposed faith in the four-month old BJP government at the Centre led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and that Modi's magic is far from fading.
He said that while BJP is in majority in Haryana, in Maharashtra, the BJP could form the government even with the support of Independent candidates. However, he didn't come clear on from where the missing number of MLAs would come from. The minister said that though all the options are still open.
