Krrish 3 (2013)

Krrish 3 was a sequel to the super-hit Krrish (2006), which was also a sequel of Koi… Mil Gaya (2003).  It is said to be one of India’s finest superhero films. The movie is about a man (Hrithik Roshan) who receives super-hero powers from an alien named Jadoo. Also, Hrithik Roshan who played Krrish was at his best in the two films. From the perfect body to superb acting, the actor charmed his way through with his superhero act. The movie was declared a blockbuster.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son of Sardaar (2012)

While Jab Tak Hai Jaan was Yash Chopra’s swan song and the return of Shah Rukh Khan as a romantic hero after a long break, Son Of Sardaar was Ajay Devgn’s action-packed masala flick. Both movies did exceptionally well and soared high at the box-office.

Ra.One (2011)

The Badshah was on a roll in 2011 as he ruled the box-office with Ra.One.  The movie saw SRK playing the protagonist of a superhero who comes to life from a video game called G.One. Ra.One is said to be the most expensive Indian film ever made. The film had a new concept and SRK added yet another feather to his cap. And even though critics panned the movie, it managed to make it big money wise. The audience absolutely loved this superhero!

Golmaal 3 (2010)

Rohit Shetty is said to be a director with the Midas Touch. After Golmaal and Golmaal 2 his magic stroke was seen again. The multi-cast film had Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Shreyas Talpade and Mithun Chakraborty in pivotal roles. The dates clicked for Shetty making Golmaal 3 the second highest grosser of the year.

Om Shaanti Om (2007)

Farah Khan always gets it right. After Main Hoon Na (2004), she teamed up with Shah Rukh Khan for Om Shaanti Om with then debutant Deepika Padukone. The movie commercially and critically received good response. While Deepika became an overnight star, SRK’s magic as usual charmed the masses.

Don (2006)

Farhan Akthar hit the sweet spot with Don. Shah Rukh Khan played the infamous role of Don, which was the remake of the 1978 hit Amitabh Bachchan starrer of the same name. The plot of the film was appreciated by all and was one of the highest grosser of the year.

Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge (1995)

Shah Rukh Khan is known as the king of romance and he has given us some of the biggest Diwali hits starting from DDLJ. The movie gave us the laughs, the cries and entertained us throughout. Also DDLJ still runs at the renowned Maratha Mandir in Mumbai with this year marking its 20th year run.
