Juliet, who hails from Aizawl, was found bleeding in her Munirka flat on Thursday night. She was taken to Safdarjung Hospital by a friend, Virendra Singh, where she was declared brought dead.

Sachin Rai, a resident of the same building where Juliet lived, said that Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Prem Nath had visited the building.

“He asked me and other residents what had happened that night and details about who had come to Juliet’s house,” Rai said.

Juliet’s house is still sealed and police have been standing guard since Thursday. Juliet’s friends are still being questioned though no arrests have been made so far, police said. Vasant Vihar police registered a case of murder under Section-302 of the IPC on Friday, but they have not ruled out the possibility of suicide.
