BARBERSHOPPERS WANTED: The Quinte area chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, A Cappella Quinte, is looking for men  young and old to share our love of singing four-part harmony. EVERY SECOND TUESDAY: Don't have room to paint at home? Need inspiration to finish your art work? Bring your supplies and join us at the John M. Parrott Art Gallery on Tuesday, January 14th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for our "Open Studio Tuesdays" program. This unstructured program is a great place for both the novice and experienced artist to get together to create. The program is free and runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month in the meeting room on the third floor. EVERY THIRD TUESDAY: The Compassionate Friends of Canada, Quinte Chapter meets the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at Weaver -  29 Bay Street, Trenton - An International non-profit, non-denominational, self-help organization offering friendship, understanding, grief education and HOPE for the parents who have experienced the death of a child at any age, from any cause.

WEDNESDAYS: Open Door Cafe meal program very Wednesday from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Eastminster United Church, 432 Bridge Street East in Belleville. The Open Door Café was established to serve those for whom a free meal is a blessing and those who would enjoy the company of fellow diners, but our doors are open to everyone.
