PANAJI : Goa chief minister
Manohar Parrikar said the major victories of the
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Haryana and Maharashtra are an endorsement of the Modi-government’s pro-development policies.
“Citizens of the country have now started to realize that a good government in five months can start changing the pattern of the national economic trajectory. This government has also brought in pride to Indians and economic recovery.
I think the confidence of the people in Modiji and his leadership has been reflected in the election result”, Parrikar said on Monday.
On asked if the Gandhi era was coming to an end and modi factor was creating the waves, Parrikar said that “I would not like to comment on any one but would like to say that BJP has become the main stream political party of the country”
