Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader and Rajahmundry Rural MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary on Monday lashed out at YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy for criticising Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

Speaking to the media at the TDP office here, Mr. Gorantla strongly condemned the statements made by Mr. Jagan who said that the opposition leader did not know the value of essential commodities that were being distributed to the cyclone victims like 50 kg rice, sugar and others . “He only knows how to loot the people’s money,” he said.

Mr. Chowdary said that he would meet the owners of nurseries of Kadiyam for ensuring supply of saplings to Visakhapatnam. This was part of efforts to bring back greenery in the port city.
