The International Fur Trend 2015 was held in Beijing on September 27, hosted by the international fur auction company Saga Furs and the BIFT Park (Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology Park) in Beijing.

Through a news conference and a runway show, the event promoted the works of seven design teams, all of whom are the leading designers in the world of fashion.

Designers like Brandon Sun from America, Todd Lynn from the UK, and Chinese designers represented by Wu Xuewei, exhibited their talents in the design of fur and fashion.

In the runway show, these designers coincided with one another in choosing blue, grey and the natural color of fur as the official colors of the show.

Bright blue is the favored choice among fashion designers this time of year, as it is believed to embody the autumn season. While grey and undyed fur is believed to embody primitive nature.

These new color combinations on display at the show, along with the matching of long-fur materials with the short-fur materials, were unveiled by the hosts Saga Furs and BIFT Park as the new trends in the 2015 fur design market.

Saga Furs, located in Helsinki, Finland, is the only publicly listed fur auction company in the world. As the most prestigious fur trade mark in the world, the company collects, sells and markets European fox and mink pelts globally.

Saga Fur is also known as a pioneer in ethical fur breeding, striving to reintroduce fur as a material used by fashion designers.

On top of that, Saga Furs Design Center also regularly hosts training seminars to help both new designers learn specific craft techniques, and fashion companies develop manufacturing methods to incorporate fur into their collections.
