BHOPAL: It all began in 1958 when VM Trivedi was studying in college and purchased a harmonica (mouth organ) for Rs 7 to play superhit song of yesteryears 'Hai apna dil to awaraa naa jaane kis pe aaega'. Later, small musical instrument became part of his life.
On Sunday at Raahgiri Day, Trivedi's performance received thunderous applause. Now 77, he is living a retired life at Shahpura.
He has helped form a group of mouth organ players in Bhopal with professor
Nakul Dhagat of MANIT,
Suresh Soni, a senior faculty in polytechnic, AR Khare, retired superintending engineer PWD and
Sunil Sharma, assistant director, fisheries among others. All of them performed at Raahgiri and were cheered and applauded.
