With some interesting roles and power-packed scripts in his kitty, Anoop Menon is here to stay. A great fan of director Priyadarshan, the actor has now been roped in to play an extended cameo in the former's Jayasurya-starrer Aamayum Muyalum. In the film, Anoop plays a government officer who arrives at a village which is full of thieves. The story, set in this fictitious village, is said to be a typical romantic entertainer from Priyadarshan, who has done the film’s scripting and even penned the lyrics for one of its songs.
The Anoop-Jayasurya jodi has worked together and delivered hit films in Mollywood. It is after a gap that the two are sharing screen space. Actors Innocent and Nedumudi Venu play prominent roles in the film, for which shoot was on at Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu.
Aamayum Muyalum is expected to hit the screens in December. Meanwhile, Anoop’s The Dolphins is set for release next month and the actor will soon join Saji Surendran's She Taxi.
