Hoffenheim moved up to fourth in the Bundesliga as they extended their unbeaten start to the season to seven games by picking up a point in a 1-1 draw at Hamburg.
Anthony Modeste gave Markus Gisdol's men the lead, but Pierre-Michel Lasogga levelled for the hosts.
Lasogga hit the crossbar as the northern side ended the game strongly, but they failed to record a first home win this season and add to their success at Borussia Dortmund a fortnight ago.
Also on Sunday, Paderborn moved above Eintracht Frankfurt into seventh after coming from behind to beat the Eagles 3-1 at the Paderborn Arena.
After a tight first half, Alexander Meier put the guests in front with his first real sight of goal.
Marvin Ducksch scored a stunning equaliser within 10 minutes and captain Uwe Hunemeier then put Paderborn in front before substitute Stefan Kutschke sealed their third win of the season.
