Nagarjuna, Karthi join hands
Actors Akkineni Nagarjuna and Karthi will soon join hands for the first time to work in an yet-to-be titled Tamil-Telugu film, to be directed by Vamsi Paidapally.
“Telugu superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna and Tamil actor Karthi will be acting together in a new film that will be directed Vamsi Paidipally. This project is going to feature lavish production values,” said a statement from the production house PVP Cinema.
“This partnership is going to be a fantastic opportunity for PVP Cinema to bring two vast and mutually complementary film industries together,” it said.
The rest of the cast will be finalised soon.
MAHESH TO WORK WITH ADDALA AGAIN?
Superstar Mahesh Babu is likely to team up with director Srikant Addala for a Telugu film next year. The film is yet to be titled. Mahesh and Srikant previously worked together in last year’s Telugu blockbuster Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. And the duo may collaborate again.
“Mahesh really liked Srikant’s new story. He even expressed his interest to work with him after he completes all the projects in hand. If all goes well, we can expect this film to go on floors next year,” a source close to the ace director said. The actor is currently ready to start working on his next project with director Koratala Siva and then with film-maker Puri Jagannadh.
