Jayadev takes part in ‘Swachch Bharat’

GVR Group of Educational Institutions students and staff donate Rs.2 lakh for the cyclone victims. Galla Youth association contributed Rs. 50, 000 to the Chief Ministers Relief Fund. Galla Youth association members N. Harish, Shafi were also present on the occasion.

Member of Parliament (Guntur) Jayadev Galla on Saturday took part in the ‘Swachch Bharat’ programme, a mass cleanliness campaign launched by the Centre, on the premises of the Government General Hospital here.

Mr. Jayadev, along with Guntur East MLA Sk. Mustafa and TDP leaders, swept the hospital premises with brooms and cleared the garbage.

Development of GGH Later, addressing a meeting with the staff at the GGH, the MP promised to extend all support for the development of the facility.

GGH Superintendent T. Venugopala Rao also took part in the campaign.

Later, the MP received a donation of Rs.2 lakh from the staff and students of the GVR Group of Educational Institutions. Chairman of GVR Group Gangineni Venkateswara Rao donated the cheque to Mr. Jayadev.
