The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders have taken up relief mobilisation from people for extending support to the victims of Hudhud cyclone in the north coastal Andhra districts.

TDP district president Beeda Ravichandra, Mayor Abdul Azeez, organising secretary V. Pattabhirami Reddy and other leaders took part in the programme. They oversaw arrangements for sending a truck-load of relief material for the cyclone victims in Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam disticts.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Pattabhirami Reddy said the mobilisation campaign was launched all over the district following a call given by Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P. Narayana.

Mr. Pattabhirami Reddy said that the relief material would be handed over to the revenue authorities concerned in the three cyclone-hit districts and the TDP leaders would be personally present during the distribution process.
