Alot of movie buffs took to the micro blogging sites to praise the film. The film is about one child and his mother and what happens to him when they go through relocation.
It is a coming of age movie about the kinds of changes which the child experiences in terms of culture, food, climate and people. Post the release of the film, there has been no looking back for the director, of movie bAvinash Arun, a graduate of FTII. It was more of nostalgia for me, since I had also experienced a similar thing. I always used to think about the many childhood friends whom I have lost because of relocating to different cities. It is a documentation of such moments. I recently finished shooting with Nishikant Kamat for a film with Irrfan. And 'Killa' has been travelling all over the world. It has changed a lot of things for me. Most of the people know about me in the industry and they have heard about the film. The kind of responses I have got from the industry is overwhelming. The film will release in January.
