Ranjith Sankar all praise of Ithihasa
Filmmaker Ranjith Shankar feels it is the Soothy Kaavu of Malayalam
Ranjith Shankar has come out with a long post in praise of Binu S' Ithihasa. To such an extent that he has termed it the Soothu Kaavu of Malayalam. His post goes thus:
"For the past few years many movies were made in Malayalam claiming they were the answer to subramaniapuram, soothu kavu etc etc. All made big noise before release and not after sadly.Finally a film has happened! ! It came with zero pre release noise for a change! ! And creating waves post release as needed.!! I thihasa has indeed created history! Stop looking guys, this is the soothukaavu of Malayalam Cinema! ! Never felt so happy watching a Malayalam movie in theater recently. A perfect commercial entertainer. . Music, visuals, edit, stunts..all perfectly gelling into the narrative!"
He has also praised the crew, "Hats off to the producer n director!! A movie made with unbelievable amount of faith and conviction! ! I stood up and clapped after the show. A first in my life! !:)) Thanks to the entire crew for this experience. Hope n pray cinema n audience here treat u the way u deserve! !"
