(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) YPSILANTI, Mich., Oct. 17 -- Eastern Michigan University issued the following news release: Eastern Michigan University has launched the fourth phase of its TRUEMU campaign, with this year's focus on dual messages about how an Eastern degree increases a graduate's marketability and success in the workplace, with a secondary campaign focusing on highlighting important faculty/student research. These communications efforts are among the topics to be discussed by Eastern's Vice President for Communication Walter Kraft during an interview on "Small Talk with Mark S. Lee" on WXYT-AM (1270) at 7 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19.



The research campaign, "Inspiring Generations, Elevating Communities" features the work of 100 faculty members on light-post banners and signage throughout Eastern's campus and in Ypsilanti, billboards on major highways, and several YouTube videos highlighting faculty members and their research.

The TRUEMU marketability campaign is communicated on many outdoor billboards throughout the southeast and mid-Michigan region, and includes radio, online and social media advertising. Additionally, a new TRUEMU television commercial also has been launched highlighting the excitement and academic experience of Eastern students.


Mark S. Lee is an EMU alumnus. The weekly program features in-depth discussions with business and education leaders in the metro Detroit area.

Lee, a business executive, entrepreneur, educator and small business expert, showcases the secrets behind today's successful start-ups and small business ventures, with a particular focus on Detroit-based and small businesses throughout Michigan. His show features tips focused on addressing business challenges, next-level growth, sustainability and market trends.

Lee is president and CEO, of the LEE Group, and has held senior-level positions with major organizations regionally and nationally. He is a guest lecturer at Eastern Michigan, where he teaches about consumer behavior and marketing strategy.
