Annika Beck will face Barbora Zahlavova Strycova in the BGL Luxembourg Open final after both cruised through their last-four encounters.
World No 60 Beck needed just 45 minutes to clinch a 6-0 6-1 victory over Denisa Allertova, whose dream run in her first WTA main draw ended at the semi-final stage.
Fourth seed Zahlavova Strycova was pushed only slightly harder as she recorded a 6-3 6-2 over Germany's Mona Barthel.
Beck will be playing in the second WTA Tour final of her career, the first coming in the same event last year and resulting in a loss to Caroline Wozniacki.
"I knew she came from the qualification and had some tough matches. Yesterday she finished very late," Beck told the WTA Tour’s official website about her win against Allertova.
"So I knew she would be a little bit tired. But I had to stay focused anyway and concenrate on myself, and try to move as well as I could, which is one of my strengths."
