KRISHNAGIRI: Krishnagiri district police arrested two men on thursday night in connection with truck drivers' murder case. According to police sources, the accused Chan Basha, 45, and Sheik Mohammed Sadhik, 38, were arrested in Thurumella village in Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh.
"We have arrested all 10 members of the gang involved in the murder of the two truck drivers," said Soolagiri police, who registered the case and are investigating it.

They also said they would prepare a chargesheet and submit it to the Hosur sub-court at the earliest. "We intend to complete the case as early as possible," they said.
A truck carrying 21 tonnes of copper plates heading to Silvassa, capital of the Union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, was hijacked by a ten-member gang of highway robbers near Soolagiri in Krishnagiri district on September 19. The truck was traced to Nellore in Andhra Pradesh. Police had initially nabbed three members of the gang, who confessed to the theft and murder.
The copper consignment was being transported from Sterlite Industries in Tuticorin to dealers in Silvassa.
