Northern Arizona Healthcare CEO to resign [The Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff]

(Arizona Daily Sun (Flagstaff) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Oct. 17--After nine years in leadership positions at Flagstaff Medical Center and Northern Arizona Healthcare, the organization's CEO Bill Bradel has submitted his resignation, effective at the end of the month.

Bradel started as the CEO of Flagstaff Medical Center and then moved to the head of Northern Arizona Healthcare, the umbrella organization over Flagstaff Medical Center and Verde Valley Medical Center. Bradel will be moving back to Maryland to spend more time with his family.

The NAH board of directors have asked Chris Bavasi to assume the role of CEO as they look for Bradel's replacement. Bavasi is the head of the organization's board of directors and the former six-term mayor of Flagstaff. He is currently the executive director of the Office of Navajo and Hopi Indian Relocation.
