Overview

Arsenal welcome their 2014 FA Cup final opponents Hull City to the Emirates on Saturday. Hull will want revenge for their Cup loss against the Gunners, who are currently vulnerable with multiple players missing due to injury.

The north London club will want to get back to winning ways following a slow start to the campaign and also to erase the memories of the disappointing loss to Chelsea in the previous game prior to the international break.

Arsene Wenger's team are down to their bare bones and are missing nine first-team players through either injury or suspension. The Frenchman will have to chop and change, especially at the back as he is missing his first and second choice right-back and centre-back.

Meanwhile, Hull City will come into this game hoping they can replicate their FA Cup final performance against the Gunners. Even though they lost that game, they pushed Arsenal all the way and Steve Bruce will know that with the injury crisis affecting the Emirates Stadium outfit, they will not have a better chance to take all three points from the game.

The Hull City manager has almost a full squad to pick from apart from long-term absentees McGregor and Snodgrass. Nikica Jelkavic and new signing Abel Hernandes could trouble the make-shift defence put up by Wenger.

Stat of the Match: This is Arsenal's joint-second worst Premier League start to a season under Arsène Wenger, with 10 points from seven games, the same as the 1998-99 campaign. The worst was in 2011-12, when they had seven from seven.

What Managers Say

Arsene Wenger: "The Hull game for us is a a remembrance of a big sweat because we played against them in the cup final in a very difficult game. They could not use Jelavic in the cup last season, and since then they have bought Diame, Hernandez - they have bought some good players."

Steve Bruce: "Last time we played against them we played to our maximum and that took us to extra-time. Arsenal have got a few problems with injuries, let's hope we can take advantage. We played well against them in large spells in the FA Cup final, let's home we can do it again."
