Top IT brains to try troubleshooting at CIIE, & win a prize [DNA : Daily News & Analysis (India)]


(DNA : Daily News & Analysis (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) "Make-a-thon will be held at Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE), IIM A from October 17-19. An intense 48-hour, non-stop competition where the top makers, designers and developers across India get together and work on the most difficult problems as a team, with lots of hardware and software resources in the room.



Participants can work on problem statements posted by partner companies or related to specific technology, posted.

Participants can also elect to work on out-of-box problems. On Wednesday Make-a-thon kicked off Make-A-Thon Idea Funnel which is a platform provided for proposals and voting on events.


They will share their problems to be work upon and also receive insights from others on the ideas presented.

Make-a-thon will see a mix of 60% professionals and 40% students during the three-day event. There will also be exciting prizes to be won by the idea presenters. The event is for anyone who is a maker, designer or a developer.

Make-a-thon at CIIE will then be followed by another Make-a-thon event at Technival by National Institute of Technology in Goa from October 24 till 26.
