UPSC IFS DAF (Mains) released, documents required

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Detailed Application Form (DAF) to apply for IFS (Main) Examination.

The Main Examination in the scheme of the Indian Forest Service(Main) Examination, 2014 will be held in November, 2014. The detailed Time Table of the Examination will be made available along with the e-Admit Card.

The Main Examination will be held at the following centres: Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Kolkata,
Lucknow, Nagpur, Port Blair and Shimla.

The commission declared the civil services preliminary examination results and the roll numbers of the candidates who have qualified for admission to the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2014 separately on October 13, 2014.

Candidates can fill in the DAF online and send a hard copy of the DAF duly signed in ink by the candidates along with all relevant documents wherever applicable as enclosures including the prescribed fees of Rs 200 addressed to the Under Secretary [(IFoS], Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069 so as to reach the commission's Office latest by November 07, 2014.

Documents or enclosures to be sent along with form to the commission:
Home State Declaration
Central Recruitment Fee Stamps for the prescribed fee.
Attested/certified copy of certificate of age.
Attested/certified copy of certificate of educational qualification
Attested/certified copy of certificate in support of claim to belong to SC/ST/OBC (where applicable)
Attested/certified copy of certificate in support of claim to being physically challenged (where applicable)

The Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2014 will be held from November 22, 2014. The DAF will be available on the website of the commission from October 17, 2014 to October 31, 2014 till 23.59 Hhours.

The admission certificate along with the time-table of the Main Examination will be uploaded on the commission's website two-three weeks before the commencement of the examination.
